Our mission

Editors Note

When becoming an agent, and you really embrace it as a career, I think you don’t truly realise the value this industry has to your own personal development. The reason I love the industry is because of the massively diverse range of skills you need to master to operate at the highest level. From sales and negotiation skills, to creative writing, to digital marketing and social media - as a top tier agent, you need to be very highly skilled in all of these. If you don’t constantly expand your skillset, you’ll be left behind by those who do. There is stark evidence for this. We can see in towns and cities across the country, firms that have been around for decades seeing their market share dropping off a cliff, and new start ups entering the market and ruthlessly reshaping the agency landscape in their area.

For agents on the right side of this shift, it presents an incredible opportunity.

The Agents Journal is there to help agents capitalise.

I’ve been lucky as an agent, and then as an operator of one of the first self-employed brokerage models in the country to have a front row seat to agents launching across the country. I’ve seen the very best, and the worst of the industry. The Agent’s Journal is a collection of my personal lessons, and lessons I’ve learnt from working from incredible agents, and it’s there as a community - for agents focused on high performance to come together.
